Objective
The prompt for this project was to create a cohesive visual system for a design conference. Required deliverables included: a promotional poster, website, app, name badges, schedule, signage, and conference swag.
Approach
For this project, I chose the Fontstand International Typography Conference. I developed the visual system off the idea of printing and letterpress type. Registration marks, color bars, and crop marks were incorporated into the overall visual system, along with the colors CMYK. Grid lines and repeating overlapping type in boxes were also used to highlight the idea of letterpress printing.
